
Welcome to Carnivore Crisps — the passion project of 25+ years in the meat industry.
I'm surrounded by friends who are always trying to get the edge: high performers who don't cut corners. I've always loved creating great new dishes while entertaining friends and family. This particular idea came to me over dinner with a group of Brazilian friends — hard-working, super fit, and passionate about their food.
My cousin taught me the way of the Gaucho, the Brazilian method of meat preparation that uses rock salt. You pack the rock salt onto a marbled piece of protein and grill it to perfection. It brings out layers of flavor and dimensions you'd never realize were possible with just salt.
And we didn't just use any salt — we partnered with the best keto, carnivore salt in the world: REAL SALT!
Later, I started a jerky company and butcher shop that brought these skills full circle. I'd been making jerky as a passion project, always experimenting and working late into the night trying out new recipes. There are a lot of fads in the food industry, but I'm here to say that once you try our crisps, you'll never look back. The deep flavor and portability of this product, along with the tremendous health benefits of grass-fed and free-range proteins, bring our world full circle — back to the native lands and clean, minimalist ingredients: whole muscle, good fats, and the best REAL SALT on the planet.
